And the winner is . . .
Melissa Barter of Windham, Maine! The Society thanks everyone who purchased raffle tickets to win the fabulous purple pagoda cat tree donated by Bryan Kaufman of r6meows.com. Hundreds of dollars were raised during the raffle and all of them go directly to the care and feeding of the dozens of horses living at the Society’s River Road farm. Our congratulations go to Melissa, a lifelong animal lover, who is a veterinarian technician at North Windham Veterinary Clinic and a regular visitor to the Society’s barns. Melissa, when told that the winning ticket was hers, said, “Oh that is unbelievable! I am going to be so popular with my cats this Christmas!”
Melissa and her boyfriend share their home with an African Gray, two dogs, and now, to the delight of their four cats, a huge, luxurious purple pagoda tree.
