The Maine State Society for the Protection of Animals provides superior, rehabilitative care for nearly 100 horses at its facilities throughout Southern Maine. This care includes specialty feed, all necessary medical attention, ongoing dental and hoof care, exercise needs and socialization. For $3,000 a year, less than $9 per day, you can help the Society care for a horse for twelve months. The Society receives no federal, state or local funding and relies on the support of generous donors to save the lives of horses and other animals across New England.
For less than the cost of a lunch out per day, your Support a Stall donation will ensure that a once abused or neglected horse receives an abundant, healthy diet, daily turnout in rolling pastures, and a warm stall through the winter. That horse will receive the love and attention of professional caregivers and the companionship of other horses. Please help the Society provide a forever home for the many animals living at the farm.
