Skills Video – Ebony

Ebony is the bombproof companion you’ve been looking for!  With her calm, sweet, in-your-pocket personality, Ebony would make a great companion pony. Due to slightly dropped hind suspensories, she is only suitable for limited riding as a lead line pony for a child under 100 pounds.

Ebony is an easy keeper, barefoot, and receives no special medications. She currently receives Vitamin E and Selenium as a dietary supplement. She is good for the vet and farrier, and she accepts both injections and oral medications. Ebony plays wells with others and usually ranks in the middle of the herd.

Ebony would be suitable for adoption by somebody with beginner-level handling skills. She would be a good pony for a child learning about horse care, as she is friendly and welcomes human attention. A child under 100 pounds could learn to mount and dismount on Ebony, and even take her for a turn around the farm, but she is not suitable for more frequent or heavier riding.
