|Just when you thought all the mustangs were gone from River Road Farm – nope. Meet the Queen Bee! So named because she is super sweet and draws a crowd wherever she goes.|
Queen Bee was seized in an out-of-state neglect case and could not be safely handled when she arrived at the MSSPA in the spring. She initially required sedation so routine vet work could be completed, and she had to be chuted onto a trailer for the trip to the Society.
But this two-year-old filly has come around quickly as the MSSPA’s dedicated staff spends time earning her trust. In four short months, Queen Bee is easily handled, receiving regular vet and farrier care, and is even learning to ground drive. You can find her spending free time with other horses at the River Road Farm and advancing in her training.
|Queen Bee is ready to fly out of the shelter to a home of her own with an adopter who has the requisite skills and/or commitment to professional training for this beauty. If you want to provide that home, please complete the Preliminary Adoption Application.|
