Indie came to the farm in the fall of 2022. She and Violet became fast friends, happily munching hay or lounging in the sun together.
Violet’s road to recovery and good health began in 2016 when she came to the MSSPA after years of suffering alongside her eight herdmates in the Neglected Nine. Heroes of all types have stepped up to help Violet and the other neglected and abused equines that have found their way to the River Road Farm.

As credit cards expire and are replaced, keeping your information updated is a constant challenge. Despite our best efforts, the MSSPA loses support each year because of missed credit card payments we know donors had every intention of making.
There’s a better way to help the horses!
Consider setting up your gift with an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). This eliminates the challenges of credit card updates and saves the Society significant processing and administrative fees, which means more of your donation goes directly toward caring for the horses.
