Voting is Now Open for the 2018 Bangor Savings Bank Community Matters More Contest

It’s that time of year again – voting for the 2018 Bangor Savings Bank’s Community Matters More contest has begun and the MSSPA horses need your votes!

Help the horses win up to $5,000 this year by voting today and sharing this post with your friends and neighbors! Here is everything you need to know about the contest this year:

When: Voting is open during the month of February ONLY. Get your vote in by midnight on February 28th!

Where & How: To vote, go to the Community Matters More voting page. Once there, click ‘Next’ to be taken to a page where you will enter your information (name, email and zip code). After entering your information, click ‘Next’ again and scroll down to find the Cumberland County section. Click one of the ‘Other’ boxes, write-in ‘Maine State Society for the Protection of Animals,’ and then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click ‘Finish’ to cast your ballot. It’s that easy! (You may also vote for two other non-profits of your choosing)

Prefer paper ballot? You may obtain one from any Bangor Savings Bank branch, complete it, and submit it at any branch as well. If you are visiting at MSSPA’s River Road farm, we will have paper ballots on hand for your convenience. We will even submit the paper ballots for you – it is that easy!

Why: To help the horses at New England’s premier horse shelter! Our goal is to get enough write-in votes from our community supporters to win $5,000 for the horses!

Don’t have time to vote? Let us vote for you! Just let us know if you would like to vote for the MSSPA by sending us an email at info@msspa.org with your name, email address, and zip code and we can cast your ballot for you!

Again, voting ends on February 28th! Please vote today and ask all of your friends and neighbors to vote, too. Please help us go viral and win $5,000 for the horses! Thank you for your kind support of the animals!
