Valley arrived at the MSSPA in July of 2023. She is a boss mare and likes to be at the top of the herd. Valley has proven herself to be a solid walk/trot under saddle. She has been out of work for a bit, so while we are working on muscling and getting her back into shape, we are waiting on assessing her ability to canter under saddle. Valley is a sweet girl who loves to be groomed and would excel as a trail horse. She’s confident while out and about, yet she’s definitely more whoa than go. Valley is good for the vet but needs some work with the farrier. She tends to pull her feet away and can be super heavy-footed. She is an overall easy keeper.
