Kevin is a gentleman who makes an impression the moment you meet him. Arriving with Diane and the rest of his family after a life that hadn’t always met his needs, he carries none of that heaviness forward in how he shows up today.
He is, simply put, a love.
Kevin will rest his chin gently on your shoulder and stay there as long as you’ll let him – or longer. He leans into connection (both physically and metaphorically) in a way that feels steady and genuine, the kind that slows you down without asking. People often find themselves lingering with him, realizing they feel calmer just by being nearby.
He’s also one of the most handleable donkeys in the group. Kevin can be haltered (with the occasional playful attempt to tuck his head between his knees), leads, trailers, navigates obstacles, and stands quietly for the farrier. He meets the world with a willingness that makes him both easy to work with and easy to love.
Kevin is exactly who he is – open, kind, and unguarded. And somehow, that’s more than enough.
Kevin needs a home where he can be turned out with other male equines as he is still working on his manners post castration.
