Finn is a young donkey with a big personality and an even bigger heart. The son of Diane and Kevin, he arrived with his family having had very little handling, unsure of the human world but deeply curious about it.
And Finn loves people.
He’ll bray the moment he spots someone nearby, trotting to the fence in hopes of attention, eager for connection and quick to offer his affection. In the pasture, he’s just as animated – especially with his young companion Yahtzee, where playtime is taken very seriously.
But underneath that enthusiasm is a more tender truth. Finn is still easily startled, and anything that feels like restraint – halter, ropes, even the idea of having his feet handled – can bring his fear rushing to the surface.
He lives right on that edge: wanting connection, but still learning how to feel safe within it. Finn has already found his way into our hearts, and we’re committed to helping him build the kind of trust that lets his brave, playful nature fully settle into ease.
