Pepperjack is the youngest member of the MSSPA family. Born to Diane nearly six months after she arrived at the farm, he quickly earned his name. Pepperjack is, quite simply, a spicy little enchilada.
From the very beginning, he has approached life with fearless curiosity. While many foals spend their first weeks looking to their mothers for confidence, Pepperjack seemed convinced he already had the world figured out. He wasted no time introducing himself to everyone around him, eager to investigate anything and anyone willing to give him a moment of attention (and for him, any attention will do!!).
And if no one is available?
He’ll happily entertain himself! It’s hard to walk past Pepperjack without smiling. Whether he’s tearing around the pasture at full speed (donkey zoomies!!), dragging his mom around by the tail, or peeking out from beneath a fly mask wrapped around a pair of comically oversized ears, he has a knack for turning ordinary moments into unforgettable ones.
Pepperjack is every bit as smart as he is entertaining. Already, he has learned to wear a halter, lead politely, and pick up his feet for the farrier – impressive accomplishments for such a young donkey.
He may be the baby of the farm, but Pepperjack has already made a very big impression. Equal parts confidence, curiosity, and comic relief, he reminds us every day that growing up should include a healthy dose of adventure.
