Hellen joined the MSSPA herd with her friends Ben and Jodie from an owner surrender. Like her paddock mate Jodie, Hellen has had years of neglected hoof care that has led to discomfort while moving about the farm. She is tough to catch right now and she lives up to the “H-E-double hockey sticks” in her name as she definitely has opinions and is not afraid to share them. Once caught, demon turns angel: Hellen is polite with the farrier and vet and she will lead without issue. Stay tuned as we get to know Hellen better!
